Adaptation of Les Miserables


Tom Hooper's long-awaited film adaptation of Les Miserables, was released on Christmas Day, has prompted a number of important issues. Will the star-laden cast off sing live? How closely Hooper put in nearly three hours? Do I have to read the book first?

We need to spend time on all these events, to be sure, but newcomers theatrical experience is one to deal with first. If you want to understand why people are so over Les Miz, where to start?

Hugh Jackman's eyes alone could probably play Jean Valjean, the heroic tragic hero of Victor Hugo novel, who is haunted by his past in prison for stealing bread. But when it comes to two to four to six-oh-oooone, Colm Wilkinson is only known as Valjean.
